EXCITED

Can't wait. My amazing friend Mr Hopkins has began to organise a spiritual evening charity event to raise money for the Air Ambulance in Mylo's name. There will be psychic & tarot readings and much more and the best part is it is on HALLOWEEN NIGHT! How awesome is that, better than knocking on pedo's doors for a few back-pocket quality street isn't it??? I've been designing the poster today and will hopefully finish it next week.

I'm also exited because I'm seeing Byron this weekend, I haven't seen him in a few weeks and I miss him REALLY bad, don't wan't to leave Mylo all weekend but I know he will have fun with Mummy whilst I'm gone. Mylo has been a very good boy today now we've sorted his medicines out and he's been giving us lots of smiles and cuddles :)

I also did a 2.29 mile run today, not that amazing but I was running through fields that were quite rough. Still had all the tractor tyre treads embedded in the ground which must have at least doubled the work load, was easy enough for Kat as I was following her sitting on her horse, galloping away like a tit. Bloody horses! X

The 1am 'can't sleep' post!

It's 1am as I'm sure you've guessed and your psychic sense has also told you I can't sleep. Wether it's Mylo's oxygen concentrator zooming that's keeping me awake or just plain restlessness I don't know. Mylo is doing great by the way, he's become a little more dependant on the oxygen this past couple of weeks, that is why the noisy machine is working at this unholy hour, but hopefully he will recover from this and manage to breathe properly without the oxygen therapy. He's been watching lots of CBeebies today with his cousin who's second birthday it is and he even tasted some chocolate buttons...yummeh!

I've been designing a poster today for my friend who runs a mobile holistic & beauty therapy business in Coalville, Leicestershire. He also performs spiritual readings so I have designed the piece around a burning candle in the dark and the name is written in the smoke. I'm really pleased with the concept and how well I have produced the piece as I have not done any Photoshop work in quite a long time since Mylo's accident. I know in time I will get much better and way more creative and as he's my best mate, I will turn all this positivity into some great pieces for him.

I also started a Pinterest account today, I have to say it is the greatest site ever, absolutely full to the gonads of inspiration I will never run dry of ideas now I have this saved on my Bookmarks Bar. Maybe that's what's keeping me awake. I'm also excited that I've been asked to photograph at a local charity event in a few weeks raising money for some great causes that helped a little girl who sadly lost her life. I almost know what that is like and it must be the worst thing in the world so I am honoured to be having a small part in such a wonderful thing. I'm going to get some flyers ready with my Facebook page on them, take lots of photos and give people the flyers so they can like my page and see all the pics. Hopefully in turn, this will get me some future work which will get some money to buy Mylo some more sensory equipment and take him on days out which will benefit his recovery so so much.

Anyway I think I best get some sleep now, please comment if you have read this it would be nice to see if anybody takes notice, haha x
